KING JEJUS

Jesus Christ is "the Faithful Witness, the First-Born from the dead and Ruler of the kings of earth." — Revelation 1:5

 

왕이신 예수

예수 그리스도께서는 “성실한 증인이시고 죽은 이들의 맏이이시며 세상 임금들의 지배자이십니다.”—묵시 1:5

 

 

This is the last Sunday of the year, and just as at the wedding feast of Cana, Jesus may have saved the best for last (Jn 2:10). If you have not totally committed your life to Jesus and acknowledged Jesus as King of kings, then do it immediately. Don't let this year, day, or minute end without having accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Don't be a Pontius Pilate and miss out on life.

오늘은 연중 마지막 일요일로서, 가나의 혼인잔치에서와 같이, 예수님께서는 최후를 위해 최상의 것을 남겨 두셨을 것입니다 (요한 2:10). 아직 인생을 예수님께 전적으로 내맡기지 않고 있고 예수님을 왕 중의 왕으로 인식하지 않고 있다면, 당장 하십시오. 예수님을 주님으로 또 구세주로 받아들이지 않은 채로 이 시간을, 이 날을, 이 해를 넘기지 마십시오. 본시오 빌라도가 되어 인생의 중요한 기회를 놓치지 마십시오.

 

Jesus knew that Pilate knew He was a King. Jesus told Pilate: "It is you who say I am a king" (Jn 18:37). Pilate, however, refused to admit it and said: "Truth!...What does that mean?" (Jn 18:38) Don't follow in Pilate's footsteps. If you try to escape from Jesus, you'll never escape from Satan.

빌라도가 예수님을 왕으로 생각하고 있다는 것을 아시고 예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 임금이라고 네가 말하고 있다” (요한 18:37). 그러나 빌라도는 그것을 인정하지 못하고 이렇게 말합니다. “진리!... 진리가 무엇이오?” (요한 18:38) 빌라도의 발자국을 따라가지 맙시다. 예수님으로부터 도망치려고 한다면, 결코 악마로부터 벗어나지 못할 것입니다.

 

King Jesus will soon be returning, riding on the clouds (Dn 7:13). "At Jesus' name every knee must bend...every tongue proclaim...Jesus Christ is Lord" (Phil 2:10-11).

왕이신 예수님은 머지 않아 구름을 타고 돌아오실 것입니다 (다니 7:13). “그리하여 예수님의 이름 앞에 다 무릎을 꿇고 예수 그리스도는 주님이시라고 고백할 것입니다” (필리 2:10-11).

 

Accept Jesus now as King of kings and Lord of lords rather than putting it off until it's too late. To be a subject of King Jesus is the greatest privilege possible for a human being. Bow before your King.

늦기 전에 예수님을 왕 중의 왕이며 주님 중의 주님으로 모십시오. 그리스도 왕의 신하가 된다는 것은 인간으로서 가능한 최고의 특권입니다. 우리의 왕 앞에 머리를 숙입시다.
