AFFINITY WITH THE TRINITY
"Ask now of the days of old, before your time, ever since God created man upon the earth; ask from one end of the sky to the other: Did anything so great ever happen before?" —Deuteronomy 4:32
삼위일체 하느님과의 친교
“이제, 하느님께서 땅 위에 사람을 창조하신 날부터 너희가 태어나기 전의 날들에게 물어보아라. 하늘 이 끝에서 저 끝까지 물어보아라. 과연 이처럼 큰일이 일어난 적이 있느냐?” —신명기 4:32
If we believe in Jesus and accept Him as Lord, we will live eternally in heaven with the Trinity. A million years from now, when there is no more time, we will be constantly exhilarated, enthralled, and overwhelmed by the Triune God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. His love is everlasting. It is always new, fresh, surprising.
우리가 예수님을 믿고 주님으로 받아들인다면, 우리는 하늘나라에서 삼위 하느님과 함께 영원히 살게 될 것입니다. 무수한 세월이 흘러 시간의 끝에 도달했을 때, 우리는 항상 기쁘고 황홀하며, 성부와 성자와 성령이신 삼위일체 하느님이 주시는 사랑의 감격 속에서 살게 될 것입니다. 하느님의 사랑은 끝이 없고, 언제나 새롭고 상큼하며 또한 놀랍기까지 합니다.
We can begin this triune relationship now by becoming disciples of Jesus and being baptized in the name "of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" (Mt 28:19). Let us "fall into the hands of the living God" (Heb 10:31) and be immersed in God, Who is Love (1 Jn 4:16). Our future is love: an eternal, ever-increasing reception of God's infinite love.
우리는 “성부와 성자와 성령의” 이름으로 세례를 받아 예수님의 제자가 됨으로써 이 삼위일체적 친교를 당장 시작할 수 있습니다 (마태 28:19). 모두 함께 “살아계신 하느님의 손에 떨어져” (히브 10:31) 하느님 안에 잠깁시다. 하느님은 사랑이십니다 (1요한 4:16). 우리의 남은 삶은 곧 사랑이니, 한없는 하느님의 사랑을 영원토록, 날로 더 받아모시는 것입니다.
"Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it so much as dawned on man what God has prepared for those who love Him" (1 Cor 2:9). "How deep are the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God!" (Rm 11:33) "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all!" (2 Cor 13:13)
“어떠한 눈도 본 적이 없고 어떠한 귀도 들은 적이 없으며 사람의 마음에도 떠오른 적이 없는 것들을 하느님께서는 당신을 사랑하는 이들을 위하여 마련해 두셨습니다” (1코린 2:9). “오! 하느님의 풍요와 지혜와 지식은 정녕 깊습니다. 그분의 판단은 얼마나 헤아리기 어렵고 그분의 길은 얼마나 알아내기 어렵습니까?” (로마 11:33) “주 예수 그리스도의 은총과 하느님의 사랑과 성령의 친교가 여러분 모두와 함께 하기를 빕니다” (2코린 13:13).
