Reflection
All communities have expectations of their members, including the Church. We are the Body of Christ and we gather to pray and worship. We share our faith with others and work to relieve human suffering and injustice. Most importantly, we help each other on our journey of faith, pointing out pitfalls and dangers, and offering support through our presence and our prayer. If you belong to this family, you pray and help each other.
Faith is often described in terms of a journey. We must choose which way to travel, how to live our faith, and what we must do in order to remain faithful to the Gospel. The task is made easier when we help each other, keeping our minds and hearts set on the goal of being one with God and with each other in Heaven.
