Reflection

     Faith has a secret ingredient that makes it special and hard to resist. This ingredient causes believers to do great things, to be unselfish and giving, to focus on the needs of others. It causes us to want to relieve suffering, end conflicts, feed the hungry and serve others. It gives eternal value to small acts of kindness and allows us to see and touch the face of God. The ingredient is love.

     God loves us so much that He became one of us. He shares himself with us so that through Him, and in Him, and with Him, we find life and grace. His love is the ingredient that gives all people not only dignity and value, but a destination and purpose. And the most amazing thing is that He Himself is love.
