Reflection
The mystery of the Trinity is not one we can explain or fully comprehend. Our finite intelligence cannot wrap itself around that which is infinite. But we can describe it. We speak of God as creator, source life, font of love. We see Jesus as Savior, eternal priest, Lord and teacher. We see the Holy Spirit as life, love, power and sanctifier. Our descriptions allow

Contemplating the mystery of God can either overwhelm us or push us closer to belief. God is all that Jesus has revealed Him to be. He loves us, redeems us and makes us holy. He shares himself with us. God is closer to us than we are to ourselves. The great mystery is not how God can be so great, but rather that we are so great to God.
