Reflection

     God hides treasures in life just to keep our attention and interest. Amazing sunsets, funny quirks in nature and in people, a child's newest discovery or an older person's tale of yesteryear reveal the creative power of God at work. It calls us to see life from God's perspective, to marvel at his genius and to offer thanks for such beauty and wisdom and grace. The reign of God manifests itself in detail great and small, so that we are drawn to him and his loving, creating, renewing power.

     We can create our own treasures because God shares his power and his will with us. God gives us the ability to participate in his creative love. We create new life, produce great works of art, compose  beautiful music, and bring order to life around us. Most importantly, we share the treasure of faith in
Jesus and the hope of eternal life. It is a story and a gift that is priceless!
