Reflection

     Scripture is filled with stories of spiritual resolutions. The patriarchs and prophets, the Apostles, and holy men and women resolve to seek God in their lives. They proclaim His message and follow His law regardless of the consequence. They want to be better people, growing in grace and wisdom and in God's favor, year in and year out.

 

     Jesus is the way to salvation. Our journey begins in the waters of  baptism. He guides us by His example, by His teaching and by giving us a share in His life. Along the way, each of us must pick up our cross. We must struggle with sin, choose grace over evil, and help each other along the way if we are to succeed. Our goal is heaven and with the help of the Lord and one another, we can reach it!
