IT'S ONE, TWO, THREE STRIKES, YOU'RE OUT...

첫번째, 두 번째, 세 번째 스트라이크, 아웃....

The apostles didn't believe Mary Magdalene. Then the two disciples on the road to Emmaus announced Jesus' resurrection, "but the others put no more faith in them than in Mary Magdalene" (Mk 16:13). Finally, Jesus had enough. He "was revealed to the eleven" and "took them to task for their disbelief and their stubbornness, since they had put no faith in those who had seen Him after He had been raised" (Mk 16:14).
제자들은 마리아 막달레나를 믿지 않았습니다. 제자 두명이 엠마오로 가던 중, 예수님이 부활하셨다고 말했으나, "그들이 돌아가 다른 제자들에게 알렸지만 제자들은 그들의 말도 믿지 않았습니다" (마르코16:13). 마침내, 예수님은 더 이상 이런 일이 계속되는 것을 원치 않으셨습니다. 예수님께서는 "열 한 제자에게 나타나 그들의 불신과 완고한 마음을 꾸짖으셨습니다. 되살아난 당신을 본 이들의 말을 그들이 믿지 않았기 때문이었습니다” (마르코 16:14)
Our job is to be witnesses of Jesus' resurrection. If others refuse and refuse again to listen to us, Jesus Himself will deal with them. If we throw the first two strikes, Jesus will take over and strike them out. For example, Peter and John witnessed to the Jewish priests on at least two occasions (Acts 4:5ff; 5:17ff). Finally, we hear that "there were many priests among those who embraced the faith" (Acts 6:7). Jesus took over from Peter and John. Also, Thomas had heard about the resurrection from the apostles and Mary Magdalene. Then Jesus made a personal appearance to change Thomas' doubt into faith (Jn 20:27).
우리가 할 일은 주님 부활의 증언자가 되는 것입니다. 다른 이들이 우리 말에 계속 귀 기울이지 않는다면 주님 당신께서 그들을 상대해 주실 것입니다. 우리가 먼저 두 번의 스트라이크를 던지면, 다음에는 주님께서 나서서 아웃을 시켜주실 것입니다. 예를 들어, 베드로와 요한은 적어도 두 번 유대인 제자에게 증거했습니다 (사도행전 4:5; 5;17 이하 참조). 결국, "사제들의 큰 무리도 믿음을 받아들였다”는 사실을 알고 있습니다 (사도행전6:7). 주님은 베드로와 요한을 대신하여 몸소 나서신 것입니다. 토마스 역시 마리아 막달레나와 제자들에게서 부활에 대한 소식을 들은 적이 있습니다. 그 때 예수님은 토마스의 의심하는 마음을 바꾸려고 토마스에게 나타나셨습니다 (요한 20:27).
Jesus is a great Kb>Relief Pitcher but if we don't start He doesn't have a chance. We must throw the first two pitches for Jesus the "Fireman" to do His thing. Jesus is risen! He's ready to come in if we're ready to open the Easter season by proclaiming "the good news to all creation" (Mk 16:15).
예수님은 훌륭한 구원투수입니다만, 우리가 나서지 않으면 주님께 기회가 주어지지 않습니다. 우리는 “소방수”이신 예수님이 당신의 일을 하실 수 있도록 먼저 두번의 스트라이크를 던져야 합니다. 예수님이 부활하셨습니다! 우리가 “모든 피조물에게 복음을 선포”하여 부활절을 맞을 채비를 갖추고 있으면 예수님이 곧 오실 것입니다 (마르코 16:15)
