JESUS AND JUDAS

그러자 사탄이 그에게 들어갔다...유다는 빵을 받고 바로 밖으로 나갔다. 때는 밤이었다.- 요한 13:27,30

 

Many people are imprisoned in a tomb of unforgiveness. A heavy stone stands between them and the risen Christ. Some refuse to forgive others, especially family members. Many maintain God has forgiven them but they can't forgive themselves. This is a self-deception.

많은 사람들이 용서를 거부하는 무덤에 갇힌 채 살아가고 있습니다. 그들과 부활하신 그리스도 사이에는 묵직한 바위가 놓여 있습니다. 어떤 사람들은 다른 이들, 특히 자기 가족 구성원들을 용서하는 것을 꺼려 합니다. 많은 이들이 하느님께서 그들을 용서하셨다고 주장하면서도 그들 자신을 용서하지는 않습니다. 스스로를 속이는 일이지요.

 

The Bible speaks not of those who refused to forgive themselves but of those who refused to believe in God's forgiveness. Judas is a prime example. He despaired of being forgiven, so he hung himself (Mt 27:5). Like Judas, some feel they have committed the unforgivable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (Mt 12:31). However, the only unforgivable sin is denying the Spirit's revelation that we can always be forgiven.

성경은 자신을 용서하지 않는 사람들에 대해서가 아니라 하느님의 용서하심을 믿지 않는 이들에 관해 말하고 있습니다. 유다가 좋은 예입니다. 그는 용서 받을 것을 포기하고 자신을 목 매달았습니다 (마태 27:5). 유다처럼 성령께 용서 받지 못할 독성의 죄를 범했다고 생각하는 사람도 있습니다 (마태 12:31). 하지만 언제나 용서 받을 수 있다는 성령의 계시를 부정하는 것이야말로 유일하게 용서 받지 못할 죄입니다.

 

Many go to Confession but still feel guilty. They may say they believe God has forgiven them, but they actually don't believe. We are saved in every circumstance by faith. We are saved by faith from unforgiveness and from the despair of Judas. By faith, roll away the stone of unforgiveness.

많은 이들이 고해소에 가면서도 여전히 죄책감을 느낍니다. 그들은 하느님께서 자신들을 용서하셨음을 믿는다고 말할지도 모릅니다만 사실상 그들은 믿지 않습니다. 우리는 믿음으로 말미암아 어떤 상황에서든지 구원을 받습니다. 믿음을 통해서 우리는 용서하지 않는 마음이나 유다의 절망으로부터 해방될 수 있습니다. 믿음으로, 용서를 거부하는 돌덩어리를 굴려 버리십시오.
