주말 휴가차 강원도에 다녀올 계획입니다.

- 청 춘 -
청춘은 인생의 한 시기가 아니다.
청춘이란 마음가짐에 있다.
청춘은 장밋빛 볼에 붉은 입술, 그리고 부드러운 무릎에 있지 않으니
씩씩한 의지와 풍부한 상상력, 뜨거운 열정 이것이야말로 바로 청춘이다.
청춘이란 인생의 깊은 샘에서 쉼 없이 솟구치는 신선함.
청춘이란
두려움을 물리치는 용기,
안일한 삶을 거부하는 모험심.
이런 마음에 든 60세 노인이야말로 20세 청년보다 더욱 청춘에 살고 있으니
사람은 나이로 늙지 않고 꿈과 희망을 잃을 때 비로소 늙어진다.
세월이 흘러 피부에 하나 둘 주름살이 패일지라도 열정으로 가득 찬 영혼은 결코 주름지지 않는다.
걱정, 의심, 좌절, 두려움 그리고 절망 이것들이야말로 기력을 쇠하게 하고 정신을 썩어지게 하는 것.
60세든 16세든 인간의 가슴 속에는
경이에 이끌리는 마음
미지에 대한 아이 같은 왕성한 호기심
인생에 대한 흥미로움과 기쁨이 내재한다.
당신과 나의 심장 깊숙이 자리한 마음의 눈에는
보이지 않는 영혼의 무선국이 굳게 자리하니
타인과 조물주로부터 아름다음, 소망, 환희, 용기, 영감을 받는 한 당신은 언제나 청춘이다.
영혼의 교감이 끊기고
당신의 정신에 냉소의 폭설이 내리고 비관의 차가운 얼음으로 뒤덮일 때,
바로 그때는 20대일지라도 인간은 늙어지며
고개를 들어 긍정의 전파를 수신하는 순간엔 비록 80세일지라도 청춘으로 남으리.

When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism
and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at twenty,
but as long as your aerials are up,
to catch the waves of optimism,
there is hope you may die young at eighty.
