우리의 이웃들을 새로운 눈으로 보기
 
“Every morning, we determined to see every neighbor that we met—in Focolare, at school, at work, and so forth—as new, no longer remembering their defects at all and covering everything over with love.  This meant approaching everyone with total amnesty in our hearts, with this universal forgiveness.  It was a strong commitment that we all took together, which helped us to be the first to love as much as possible, following the example of the merciful God who forgives and forgets.

  "매일 아침, 우리는 포클라레에서, 학교에서, 혹은 직장등에서 우리가 만났던 각각의 이웃들을 새로운 시선으로, 더 이상 그들의 허물을 기억하지 않고, 사랑으로 그 모든 것을 감싸며 보기로 결심했습니다. 이것은 우리 마음 속에서 모든 죄의 사함과 그 보편적 용서로  모든 사람들에게 다가 가는 것을 의미합니다. 그것은 용서하시고, 잊으시는 자비로운 하느님의 모범에 따라서,, 그것은 우리가 될 수 있는대로 먼저 사랑하도록 도왔습니다."
