세계 청소년 대회 기도문
2005년 세계 청소년 대회를 향하여 가는 길에 바치는 기도.
Lord Jesus Christ,
Saviour of the World,
You became man,
to give us a life in abundance.
You promised to remain with us in Your Church
until the end of time.
Then Your Kingdom will come:
a new heaven and earth
full of love, justice and peace.
This is our hope, our foundation.
Thanks be to You.
저희에게 충만한 삶을 주시기 위해
사람이 되신 세상의 구세주 예수 그리스도님.
세상 끝 날 때까지 저희와 함께 당신 교회 안에 머무시어
사랑으로 가득찬 새 하늘과 새로운 땅,
정의와 평화의 당신 나라를 완성하시나이다.
이러한 당신 나라의 완성을 저희는 희망하고 건설하며
이것에 대해 당신께 감사드리나이다.
Lord, we pray:
Bless the young people around the world.
Reveal Yourself to those who are searching for You.
Awake those who do not believe in You.
Strengthen the faith of those who confess You.
Let them continuously set out to You
like the three Wise Men from the East.
Make them architects of a new civilisation of love
and witnesses of hope for the whole world.
Through them be close to those
who suffer from hunger, war and violence.
세상의 모든 젊은이들을 축복하소서.
당신을 찾는 이들에게 당신을 보여 주시고,
당신을 믿지 않는 이들을 흔들어 깨우소서.
당신께 신앙을 고백하는 이들의 믿음을 강하게 하시고
동방 박사 세 사람이 당신을 향하여 나아갔듯이
늘 새롭게 당신께 나아가게 하소서.
새로운 사랑의 문명을 건설하고
온 세상을 위한 희망을 증거하소서.
당신께 신앙을 고백하는 이들을 통해
굶주림과 전쟁, 폭력으로 고통 받는
모든 이들에게 가까이 계셔 주소서.
Inspire by Your Holy Spirit those who are contributing
the preparations of World Youth Day 2005.
Make them serve Your kingdom
with the power of their faith and their love
and let them welcome their brothers and sisters
from all over the world with open hearts.
2005년 세계 청소년 대회를 함께 준비하는
모든 이들에게 당신의 성령을 채우소서.
믿음과 사랑의 힘으로 당신 나라를 위해 헌신하게 하시고
열린 마음으로 온 세상 형제 자매들을 받아들이게 하소서.
Lord, You gave us Mary as our mother.
Let Her be our advocate for World Youth Day
so that it becomes a celebration of faith.
Bless Your Church with new strength these days,
so that She can become a credible witness for You.
성모 마리아를 저희에게 어머니로 주셨사오니
성모님의 전구를 들으시어
세계 청소년 대회가 신앙의 축제가 되게 하소서.
오늘날 당신의 교회에 새로운 힘을 주시어
당신을 세상에 증거하는 믿을 만한 증인이 되게 하소서.
We ask this through You, our Lord and God,
living in the unity with the Father and the Holy Spirit,
reigning forever and ever. Amen.
성부와 성령과 함께 영원히 살아계시며 다스리시는 천주 성자
우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 청하나이다. 아멘.
