Valorizzare il silenzio
침묵을 중요하게 여기자.
Appreciate silence

제가 드물게 한적한 장소에서 회상할 기회를 갖거나 기도할 때, 이따금 전화나 라디오, 차 혹은 거리 소리들로 방해받지 않는 이 침묵이 얼마나 강하게 말하는지 알게 됩니다.
저는 소음이 있는 곳, 그곳에 하느님의 침묵이 있고, 침묵이 있는 그곳에 하느님의 음성이 있다는 것을 압니다.

When on rare occasions I have the opportunity to recollect myself in a solitary place and I pray, I sometimes become aware of how strongly this silence speaks, a silence uninterrupted by telephones, radios, cars, or street sounds.

What happens is I realize that where there is noise, there is God’s silence and where there is silence there is God’s voice.
