워싱톤 DC 에 소재한 미 상공협회( THE US COMMERCE ASSOCIATION)에서는 매년 미국 전 지역의 중소업체를 대상으로 하여 그해의 업무실적 및 해당 지역의 고객서비스 및 지역사회의 공헌 등을 평가, 심사하여 최우수업체를 선발하는데, 영광스럽게도 2009년도는 유타주, 솔트레이크에 위치한 대한여행사(ASIA WORLD TRAVEL & TOUR)가 한인업체로는 최초로 선정되어 그에 대한 상패를 보내 왔습니다.

  이는 당사의 영광이기도하며, 전 미주 상공업계에 유타주의 한인업체를 알리고, 유타한인의 위상을 높이는데 많은 기여를 할 수 있다고 봅니다. 

  특히 당사가 선정된 배경으로는 미국 내뿐 만아니라, 국외에 까지도 유타주를 홍보하는데, 일익을 담당해 왔음은 물론, 항공요금은 포함, 모든 여행 업무의 탁월한 서비스를 지역사회(유타주)에서 인정을 받은 결과가 이번 심사과정에서 당사가 선정되었다고 협회 심사위원회으로부터 알려왔슴을 알립니다.

아울러, 유타 주립(U of U)대학에서 본인이 여행 및 관광업무에대한 강의를 한 것이 유타 지역사회에 유익한 도움이 된것도 고려되었으리라 생각됩니다.
