Through your hands you have been blessed.
These are the hands that you consecrsted and annointed to perform the
priesthood 25 years ago.
These are the joyful young hands that received
The bible and chalice, on your day of ordinance.
These hands could be big and rough, but they can also be humble and
modest when they are reaching with deep reverence and love, the body
and blood of our lord jesus christ.
These are the hands that with paternal love have given the gift of new life
to new born with the sacrament of baptism.
These are those speechless hands that constantly are preaching the word
of lord reaching his congregation with enthusiasm and determination.
These are the hands that had been blessed and through them have given
the holy sacrament of reconciliation to obtain pardon from god's mercy, for
the offences committed to repented sinners, giving them back the peace
their hearts need and his divine pardon.
These are the choosen hands to celebrate the holy eucharistic and giveng us,
The best gift : The bread of life.
These are hands that with devotion, constantly sliding through his fingers is
the rosary to venerate our virgin mary, repeating constantly how he loves her.
These are hands that have been transmitting the love for our lord jesus christ;
when they perform many charitable acts, everywhere they have been, in silence
discretely unnoticed.
These are the hands that have been blessed many couples on theire wedding day,
performing the sacrament of holy matrimony.
These are the hands that with care and love have been annointing many people
who dying, preparing them for their final trip and their encounter with the almighty.
These are hands that have been extended to cover his congregation, to keep together
under the word, committments and love, to give testimony of fidelity through the path
of sanctification.
These are hands that have been blessed. because when you offer and dedicate
your life without any condition, are always willing to serve the lord to renew his church.
These are the hands that express to one another that being good and living in peace
is the only way to change the world.
These are the hands that jesus christ himself who wants to continue being present
in his loving son, father gerardo.
That he may continue sharing jesus'love and blessing amoung us.
