SCABS AND PUS
"The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 'If someone has on his skin a scab or pustule or blotch which appears to be the sore of leprosy, he shall be brought to Aaron, the priest." —Leviticus 13:1-2
부스럼과 고름
“주님께서 모세와 아론에게 이르셨다. ‘ 누구든지 살갗에 부스럼이나 습진이나 얼룩이 생겨, 그 살갗에 악성 피부병이 나타나면, 그를 아론 사제나 그의 아들 사제 가운데 한 사람에게 데려가야 한다.’” —레위기 13:1-2
Do you have a spiritual scab, pustule, or blotch? Do you need inner healing? A scab is a past hurt beginning to heal but still a touchy subject. You feel like picking at it or at a certain person and opening the wound once again. Don't touch the scab. Don't reverse the healing process.
여러분에게는 영적인 딱지나 고름집(膿疱)이나 얼룩이 없습니까? 내적치유가 필요하십니까? 딱지는 치유중인 상처의 흔적이지만 여전히 예민한 문제입니다. 그 상처를 건드리거나 남의 아픈 과거를 들추려 한다면 그 상처를 재발시키려는 것과 같습니다. 치유가 끝날 때까지는 딱지에 손 대지 마십시오.
A pustule is an effect of spiritual infection. You may be infected with unforgiveness, resentment, bitterness, or anger. The pus from these wounds may be reaching a head. How many times have we innocently started to talk to others when suddenly they burst forth in a fit of rage, resentment, and bitterness? Their pustule broke.
고름집은 영적인 세균감염으로 생깁니다. 용서 안하기, 원한 품기, 독설(毒舌) 또는 분노가 그 원인입니다. 이 상처에서 나온 고름이 화근이 될 수 있습니다. 여러분도 누구에게 순수하게 이야기를 시작했는데 갑자기 상대방이 발작적으로 격분하거나, 원망하거나 독설을 퍼부은 경험이 있을 것입니다. 그 고름집이 터진 것입니다.
A blotch is like an allergic reaction. Did you ever bring up a subject to which others were allergic? Suddenly there's a tension in the room and a changed tone of voice. The conversation turns ugly.
얼룩은 알레르기 반응과 같습니다. 여러분도 누구에게 알레르기인 화제를 꺼낸 적이 있을 것입니다? 그러면 갑자기 분위기가 긴장되면서 목소리가 달라지고, 대화는 엉망이 됩니다.
These scabs, pustules, and blotches need healing. "Moved with pity, Jesus stretched out His hand, touched him, and said: 'I do will it. Be cured.' The leprosy left him then and there, and he was cured" (Mk 1:41-42).
이런 딱지, 고름집, 그리고 얼룩은 치유가 필요합니다. “예수님께서 가엾은 마음이 드셔서 손을 내밀어 그에게 대시며 말씀하셨습니다. ‘내가 하고자 하니 깨끗하게 되어라.’ 그러자 바로 나병이 가시고 그가 깨끗하게 되었습니다” (마르 1:41-42).
