PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRAY FOR OUR TWO NEWEST PRIESTS – Father Bradley Markus and Father Paul Hrynczyszyn – at all Masses this weekend. Both young men have worked hard over the past many years to arrive finally at this happy moment in their lives and in ours. We will be rehearsing the celebration later this afternoon to assure that everything goes smoothly! These will be my first ordinations as Bishop of Hamilton, the first of many, many more, I pray.
BISHOP ANTHONY TONNOS CELEBRATES 50 YEARS AS A PRIEST ON MAY 30th, at a concelebrated Mass at Christ the King Cathedral, beginning at noon. The Mass itself is open to the general public, so please encourage interested parishioners and friends to attend. Following Mass, a luncheon will be served to invited guests in the Parish Hall. Invitees should RSVP ASAP to assure seating in the Hall! Bishop Tonnos has also agreed to celebrate his anniversary with the Diocesan Staff at a special breakfast on September 9th, beginning at 9 a.m.
