WE ARE A WEEK AWAY FROM THE ORDINATION TO PRIESTHOOD of our two deacons, Brad Markus and Paul Hrynczyszyn. They are on a retreat this week in preparation for the big event. Please keep them in your prayers – along with our other seminarians and the six men who are preparing to begin their seminary training in September. Father Kevin Cull has sent a letter to Pastors encouraging you/them to bring potential candidates (16 or over) to an Ordination Day Gathering, on May 7th, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – it is a wonderful way to encourage vocations!
SPEAKING OF THE FEDERAL ELECTIONS: DO ENCOURAGE PARISHIONERS to get out and vote on May 2nd. It is a vital part of the democratic system – what makes it work. We enjoy what many other countries are still struggling for - let’s make it work.
