The second he named Ephraim,

I think Joseph's sorrow.

When he was sold by his brothers...
When he saw them again
as the ruler over all the land of Egypt...
When he heard Judah's saying
to be his slave
in place of Benjamin...

Exclusion from those whom he loves.
...hard to endure.

...the one always
to try to know and follow
God, Our Father's will.
...he could overcome.

Let us always think and follow God, Our Father's will.
