Dear Customer Service Department of Schuke-Berlin Pipe Organ:
This is Prof. Sun Tae Soh (sunsoh@mju.ac.kr, satinirt@hanmail.net, gridcompu@hotmail.com) at Catholic Curhch Bunding St. John Parish, Bundang, Song-Nam, Kyong-Gi, Korea.
One of pipe organists in our parish reported to me this afternoon (2006. 09. 14) that one corner of the air passage for the pipe organ located on the left side in our Sanctuary began to leak air quite a lot.
When the organ is turned on, the air-leaking sound is heard, and it disappears when the organ is turned off.
The level of the air-leaking sound is quite noisy that people near the altar can easily hear the air-leaking sound.
According to her explanation, it seems that the leather part of the air passage at that corner began to have a small hole or was torn out a little bit, very recently (I mean, yesterday or this morning).
Since a pipe organ performance is scheduled on the morning of this coming Sunday (2006. 09. 17) right after the Sunday Mass at 11:00 am, it must to be repaired very soon.
Would you please select a well-qualified Korean serviceman for fixing the problem, and also assign the job to him on behalf of us?
Your prompt cooperation will be very much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Prof. Sun Tae Soh, Ph. D.
Catholic Church Bundang St. John Parish, Korea
