Ps 40:2, 3, 4, 18
R. (14b) Lord, come to my aid!
I have waited, waited for the LORD,
and he stooped toward me.
R. Lord, come to my aid!
The LORD heard my cry.
He drew me out of the pit of destruction,
out of the mud of the swamp;
he set my feet upon a crag;
he made firm my steps.
R. Lord, come to my aid!
And he put a new song into my mouth,
a hymn to our God.
Many shall look on in awe
and trust in the LORD.
R. Lord, come to my aid!
Though I am afflicted and poor,
yet the LORD thinks of me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
O my God, hold not back!

◎ 주님, 어서 저를 도우소서.
○ 주님께 바라고 바랐더니, 나에게 몸을 굽히셨도다. ◎
○ 내 외치는 소리를 들으시어, 나를 멸망의 구덩이에서, 오물 진창에서 들어 올리셨도다. 반석 위에 내 발을 세우시고, 내 발걸음을 든든하게 하셨도다. ◎
○ 내 입에 새로운 노래를, 우리 하느님께 드리는 찬양을 담아 주셨도다. 많은 이들은 보고 두려워하며, 주님을 신뢰하여라. ◎
○ 나는 가련하고 불쌍하지만, 주님께서 나를 생각해 주시도다. 저의 도움, 저의 구원은 주님이시니, 저의 하느님, 지체하지 마소서. ◎
