THE PERMANENT DIACONATE,VOCATION OF SERVICE

The Permanent Diaconate is an ordained ministry of
service within the Roman Catholic Church. Men,
married or single, ages 31 to 60 years are eligible to
apply. It requires a great commitment of time and
energy on the part of the candidate and if married, of his
family. As with all vocations, the Permanent Diaconate
is a call from God and for those whom He calls, and for
the Church that they are called to serve. It is a great
blessing.
