Ps 8:4-5, 6-7, 8-9
R. (2a) O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
When I behold your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars which you set in place —
What is man that you should be mindful of him,
or the son of man that you should care for him?
R. O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
You have made him little less than the angels,
and crowned him with glory and honor.
You have given him rule over the works of your hands,
putting all things under his feet:
R. O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
All sheep and oxen,
yes, and the beasts of the field,
The birds of the air, the fishes of the sea,
and whatever swims the paths of the seas.
R. O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!

◎ 주님 저희의 주님, 온 땅에 주님 이름, 이 얼마나 존엄하나이까!
○ 우러러 주님의 하늘을 바라보나이다, 주님 손가락의 작품들을, 주님께서 굳건히 세우신 달과 별들을. 인간이 무엇이기에 이토록 기억해 주시나이까? 사람이 무엇이기에 이토록 돌보아 주시나이까? ◎
○ 주님께서는 그를 신들보다 조금만 못하게 만드시고, 영광과 존귀의 관을 씌워 주셨나이다. 주님 손의 작품들을 다스리게 하시고, 만물을 그의 발아래 두셨나이다. ◎
○ 주님께서는 저 모든 양 떼와 소 떼, 들짐승들하며, 하늘의 새들과 바다의 물고기들, 물속 길을 다니는 것들을 다스리게 하셨나이다. ◎
